Hello, I'm having trouble launching the game. I insert the disk, and the launcher runs fine. I click 'Game', and up pops a picture of the Ebon Hawk, then I get this error message: http://i.imgur.com/GNAiPC4.png
Please help, I really want to play this game without having to pay for a Steam copy. Note: I have am nVidia graphics card, and am running it in compatibility mode (Windows XP SP 2) on Windows 8. I did install the latest patch, IC disabled movies, and I did try unchecking all CPUs except CPU 0 in the Task Manager. Also, someone suggested I add this line to the .ini file, which I did: "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1"
EDIT: Note that I'm running from the original CDs, not the Steam version.

So my problem is that Bastila starts off as a light side character and i haven't finished the game yet but I've heard multiple times that *****SPOILER***** you lose Bastila and she comes back later as a darkside character. So I don't know whether i should be giving her lightside powers or darkside powers since she'll just become dark later anyway. If i give her lightside powers now, won't she be pretty much useless when she becomes evil? If i give her darkside powers now, will she be more useful later? Thanks and please no plot spoilers I haven't finished the game yet.
btw im playing dark side and i play on ios if that changes things
As I'm working on this large Saber mod, nearing completion, as gaping bug rears its ugly head. One that is so frustrating that you'd think it never should have existed.
The way the mod works (for sake of organization) is it creates a new baseitem for each new saber hilt model added, the model variations being the colors variants of each hilts.
When adding them to baseitems.2da, I copy the corresponding original lightsaber row and create a new one with the updated values (which are only itemclass and default model)
Works fine in-game, but as Mr. Phil pointed out, the new sabers lack the ability to deflect blaster fire.
I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a separate place that this property is set or if I'm missing something... or if I've dug a really deep hole this time...
This sounds like fun! One of my friends on whatsapp already predicted it would be for bugging a guy that looked like Dominic Armato!
I reckon McCoy would somehow join the circus as the grumpiest clown known to man and get taken away for making kids cry. Or for hitting a pet shop and stealing all the fluffy things therein.
Zoom would be caught flashing his weapons in public in an indecent manner. Actually scratch that, he'd be harassing random women for beer in a drunken state.
With the insurmountable amount of filth running through Roy's mind I can only imagine what he'd be taken away for.
I'm not sure about Huz... he'd probably be the one doing the arresting.
Since starwarsknights.com where the original file was, is not longer working, i was hoping if anyone here have RF/MOD/RIM Editor for jade empire, since that was the only place on the net that i could find, that hosted that program and since i am wanted to play jade empire, i was wanted to check out the jade empire in style mod, but wanted to play a custom character.
Unfortunatelly to play character from later game, i need that program since the game doesn't load them until they are needed, and that tools allows that.
Thanks for understanding and it would be most helpful if you could help me,
(NOTE ON “ALTERNATE UNIVERSE”: This is also considered an “alternate-universe” work because it does not follow the canonical KOTOR and KOTOR II storylines. In my own personal opinion, “canon” in terms of Revan and the Jedi Exile means the choices each individual game player made for them. My Revan is female and my Exile is male, although the novels say otherwise.)
CHAPTER ONE: PAIN IN MY BRAIN
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…
Ten years after the Jedi Exile defeated Darth Traya upon the planet of Malachor V, the galaxy has entered a brief period of stability. The Republic has begun to thrive, and not only survive, since its war against Darth Malak and the Sith. Not only that, but the Jedi Order has been recruiting and training new members at its rebuilt Enclave on Dantooine.
All would seem to be well, yet underneath the thin veneer of galactic peace, tensions are seething. Not even the Jedi can eradicate greed, financial exploitation, and job insecurity for the people they protect. YEIRA KARITTA, an entry-level employee of Czerka Corporation, has just awakened with a headache…
LOCATION: MODULE 18C IN THE CZERKA CORPORATION APARTMENT COMPLEX, DANTOOINE
0457 hours. Almost time to get up, but if the pulsing in my head doesn’t quit, I’m not going to.
It feels like a nerve that’s close to my brain is throbbing. Maybe it is, but I wouldn’t know. I’m not a doctor. I’m a fresh eighteen-year-old drone for Czerka Corporation, so I shouldn’t have any nerves at all. My head should be full of microchips and connecting circuits, not neurons and - what are they called? Dendrites? I seem to remember that word from science class back in school, vaguely.
My graduation from Dantooine Vocational Institute (DVI) was just two months ago, so how could I have forgotten so much so quickly? “A technical education for a brighter future,” our academy’s slogan went, and I, like a fool, believed it. I had hoped to become a cyber-security technician for the Dantooine government, at their Khoonda headquarters. However, Czerka’s slick public-relations people got to me and several of my classmates first. They promised us jobs, while all that Governor Adare’s staff said was, “We’ll check and see if we have any openings.” What do you think we did? We took Czerka’s offer and rushed to our cubicles and workstations. If you don’t want to be a farmer here on Dantooine, career options are fewer than you might think. I got hired as a data-entry clerk. Data entry? I know how to hack.
Speaking of which, I wish I could hack my skull open and rip out whatever’s causing this headache.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! I slap the palm of my hand down hard on my chrono’s snooze button. It shuts up.
“S4-M1?” I call out weakly, and then “Sami”? ‘She’ is my companion droid and only luxury. “Could you come here for a second?” After a few dweedles and beeps, she rolls toward me. To celebrate my new job, I immediately splurged and bought her at a TENO, otherwise known as a technological novelty shop. “I need some medicine for a bad headache. Would you go in the bathroom and get some, please?” The tinkling notes of her electronic voice reply in the affirmative, and then she scoots away. I’m so lucky. The pain has practically immobilized me beneath the covers, and it’s all I can do to squint my eyes shut. S4-M1 returns with not only three life-saving pills, but a glass of water. “Thank you!” I gulp them all down.
Lying here in the darkness, I try to pretend I don’t see the sun peeking through the cracks in my blinds. If I remain hidden, buried underneath these sheets, no one except Sami will notice me and I can stay home. She’ll take care of me as the pain passes, this pulse that’s making me more sure by the second that a vein will pop right out of my forehead. I’ve never had migraines before, so why am I having one now? Is it the job? Of course it is, I tell myself, but I didn’t think the stress would be this bad so soon after starting.
Oh, kriff! I grit my teeth against a sudden onslaught of agony, and a memory. I’ve got an MTM today. Our Czerka branch holds Mandatory Team Meetings on the first of every month, and guess what day today is? If I don’t make it, I might be demoted and transferred to the Customer Experience Department. What a joke! The only “experience” customers have with Czerka is one of two: mild satisfaction or outright rage. More often, it’s the latter. In my mind I call it the Customer Processing Department, because that’s what it really is. I’ll do anything to avoid going there. At least now I’m working with consoles instead of people - consoles and utility droids. They understand me, and I understand them and their electronic complexity.
Most of my co-workers think I shouldn’t spend so much time thinking. Maybe they’re right.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! The chrono gives me one more reminder of my duty, so I finally turn it off.
“Am I a quitter, Sami?” Negative beeps from my companion droid. “Right. No matter how much torture my head is giving me right now, I can’t miss our Mandatory Team Meeting. Besides, the pills are starting to help. Breakfast shouldn’t be too hard, just some toast and a Caffeine Colloid, okay?” S4-M1 heads to the tiny space for cooking that we call a kitchen, and I manage to stumble my way toward the refresher. Please let the hot water get rid of my headache, I pray to no one in particular. I don’t have time for this.
As soapy, steaming jet sprays soak me from head to toe, I let out a sigh of relief. Overall, Czerka may be a massive conglomeration of cheapskates, but you can’t say they’re not up-to-date when it comes to the technology in their corporate apartments. That’s one of the perks that their PR personnel mentioned when they visited the DVI for our Graduates’ Career Fair. “You’ll live like royalty in our luxurious complexes,” they said, “no matter whether you’re a Sanitation Engineer or one of our Chief Executive Officers!” I was highly skeptical at first, but then I saw the pictures: immaculate cleanliness, no vermin of any kind, and lots of tall windows to let in as much light as possible. Every inch of the sample dwelling was free of flaws.
Sure, I thought back then, that’s the model, but not the standard employee apartment. I was wrong. This place is the best thing about working for Czerka, aside from being able to afford Sami. I otherwise don’t make much, and the way I’m treated at work is sometimes worse than how you would treat a utility droid.
Remembering this, my pounding brain gives one more thump, and I groan. “Telemetric communications on.” The refresher has a built-in panel, and it bursts into life. Right now it’s tuned to a commercial I loathe:
“Are you wondering where you’ll find technical staff with the highest skills and experience, while most of your applicants only know about livestock and herbicides? Czerka Corporation, with multiple branches across the galaxy, has already met your needs. Come see us at our recently-renovated office campus near Khoonda to discuss employee recruitment via our CzerkLink service. Czerka: Consider it done.”
This new slogan has spread like a virus throughout our entire office, and maybe that’s what’s making me sick. I’ve become ill because of it, and one of the symptoms is a splitting cranium! I could laugh at Czerka’s last motto - Wherever you go, there we are - because it was so ridiculously cheesy. This one isn’t. People have started saying “Consider it done” all over the place, especially to their bosses when they’ve been assigned a project. I want to rip the telemetric comm panel right out of the refresher wall, but that wouldn‘t do any good. My favorite song comes on as the jet sprays continue washing me and then finish.
“Sami? Is breakfast ready?” I hear lively chirping from the kitchen, so I know my droid has done her part. No matter how much pain I’m in, it’s time for me to do mine. I dress in my standard-issue Czerka uniform - orange and black, a good match for my tanned complexion - and head towards the aroma of toast. However, the first thing I do is gulp down about half of my Caffeine Colloid, cola-flavored, and lick my lips. Energy drinks have been taken to the level of the stratosphere with CaCol. It’s a slightly gooey suspension of pure caffeine and other stimulants such as taurine and a new synthetic one, galactine. Yum! This will keep me going all day long, especially if I have to work late. I hope it doesn’t make my headache worse.
“Holoscreen on - never mind. I don’t have time.” I eat my buttered toast as fast as possible and bolt for the door with my metal briefcase. “See you tonight,” I tell S4-M1, and she gives me a few electronic tinklings goodbye. Good old Sami. No matter how I do at work, she’s always there to cheer me up. Too bad she’s not human!
I almost can’t say the same for my fellow Czerka employees at our apartment complex shuttle station. Businesslike and efficient, they move and talk like normal people, but only to the communication devices implanted in their ears. I have one, but I only turn it on in emergencies. Who wants to walk around all day and have the rest of the people nearby believe that you’re talking to thin air? Apparently a lot of people here do, because their lips are moving even though they’re not talking to their neighbors in nearby seats.
That’s another reason why a lot of my co-workers at Czerka consider me strange: I’m not tethered to my devices, whether implanted or not. I contact my boss and tell him I’m calling in sick:
“Mr. Lorso? It’s Yeira Karitta, employee ID number 5429-1000.”
“Yes?”
“My head is absolutely killing me. I’m going to go over to CzerkHealth before checking in.”
“Good idea, but don’t miss our MTM. We’re going over everyone’s aggregate performance scores.”
“Right.” How long will it take the automated waiting room to check me in so I can get diagnosed and out of there? “I’ll try my best to make it, but I don’t know what kind of mood the clinical droids are in today.”
“Har, har.” Unlike me, he’s one who doesn’t believe droids have moods. I know better due to Sami.
“Seriously, I’ll be there as soon as possible.”
“85%.” He disconnects. That’s my aggregate performance score for the month: good, not great. I hope that my headache passes completely before 1030 hours. The pills are helping, but not too much. When the shuttle arrives, I try to think of how I’ll placate Mr. Lorso if I miss the meeting after all. The bad thing about an APG is it doesn’t just tell how accurately or quickly you enter data. It also measures Attitude, Office Participation, and the vague one I dread: Overall Efficiency. How does my boss even figure that?
“Now arriving at CzerkHealth,” the shuttle’s automated voice says. “Take your boarding passes with you.” I step onto the shuttle platform and make my way into the outpatient clinic like a wounded soldier. The throbbing in my vein, or whatever it is, has become stronger since I took the pain pills. How unusual. I hope it’s not a side effect of the CaCol, but it really shouldn’t be since I drink one every day and haven’t had a headache like this in…forever. The last time I can even remember one so bad was when I was little.
I’d had a nightmare about a pulsing planet that was saturated with evil energy. Did it even exist?
Shaking off the memory, I walk into the waiting room and manage to give my name to the automated check-in system. There are a few people here besides me, but not too many. I smile and take a seat, perusing a stack of old infotainment holopads: Nar Shaddaa News, Dantooine Daily, CzerkToday. Rolling my eyes, I realize I’m definitely not in the mood for this last one. I pick up DD and begin to read an article.
“Yeira Karitta, employee number 5429-1000?”
I wish they wouldn’t do that. Couldn’t I be just one more anonymous sick person here, instead of a defective Czerka machine? I sigh and stand up, taking the news holopad with me since I figure there’ll be more waiting to do in the diagnostic droids’ office. Surprisingly, though, one of them is available. After I tell N1-O1 about my symptoms, “he” scans my head, checks my eyes and ears, and makes a few notes on a datapad. I’m trying to figure out what he’s thinking and what my diagnosis might be, but he completely shocks me:
“Ma’am? As far as I can tell, there is absolutely nothing physically wrong with you.”

Okay, something really weird just happened to me. I was playing around with the lightsabers on the bench, when suddenly I found a crystal that I could swear wasn't in my inventory before. Two of them, in fact, both called 'Melles Crystals'. They did different things, however. One gave a +1 to damage and attack, and the other a +4 to each. But the strangest thing was the description:
"A crystal that will help you clean up in kotor... with the lightsaber."
Where did these crystals come from? I tried doing a Google search, and ... nothing.
Chapter IV: Meeting of the Orthodox Sects on Mt. Kunlun
The sun shines brightly on the clear blue morning sky on Mt. Kunlun. On the Great Hall of the Kunlun School, the Chiefs of Kunlun, Huashan, Wudang, Emei, Kongtong and Qingcheng Sects, as well as the Abbot of Shaolin, meet in order to discuss about how to deal with Lung Chang. All Chiefs are served tea while servants of the Kunlun School fan them with white folding fans. Piao Zhen, Chief of Kunlun Sect, sits on a simple wooden chair on the center of the Hall, in contrast with the other Chiefs who sit on lavishly decorated with gold chairs. All Chiefs, except for Priest Yue Li, Chief of Wudang Sect, and Abbot Yongyu of Shaolin, who wear their religious clothes, wear lavish gowns made of silk. Only Piao Zhen wears a simple black gown.
Piao Zhen smiles and sips his tea. He then says: "Honorable Chiefs of the Orthodox Martial Arts Sects, I welcome all of you to Mt. Kunlun and hope that this meeting shall solve the recent troubles of the Martial Arts World."
All Chiefs respectfully greet Piao Zhen and thank him for hosting the meeting, except for the Chief of Qingcheng Sect, the elderly Pan Tong, who just sighs. Because Piao Zhen is a relative young Chief, only in his late twenties, Pan Tong, who is in his early eighties, does not respect him much. Piao Zhen ignores Pan Tong's rudeness and continues his speech.
"Honorable Chiefs, although I am the youngest of all of you and the Kunlun Sect is not nearly as populous or powerful as your Sects, I took the initiative to host a meeting of the Orthodox Sects on Mt. Kunlun because the one who massacred the Guan and Jia families in Kaifeng was once a student of our school."
"At least you know your place!", Pan Tong shouts loudly. Piao Zhen, however, manages to stay calm and ignores him. He is not nicknamed 'Gentleman Swordsman' for nothing.
"I do not believe Lung Chang committed those massacres.", Priest Yue Li says. "I met him on Mt. Dragon and he proved to be a real gentleman and a chivalrous hero. Also, if he did commit the murders, why did he wrote his name on the Mansions of the Guan and Jia families?"
"Indeed.", adds Abbot Yongyu of Shaolin, an old man with long white beard, long eyebrows and prayer beads around his neck. "Only a lunatic would do that."
"But he is a lunatic.", replies Abbess Meijoui of Emei Sect, an old woman with long grey hair and wearing a grey Taoist robe. Abbess Meijoui is well known for her great martial arts and swordsmanship skills, as well as for her strict moral code. "His killing of Wu Jing last year was witnessed by many people. Also, it is well known that he is very proud. That's why he massacred Master Wu Kang and his entire family after being forced to apologize to them by his Master, the late Master Song Yan. He then murdered his own teacher and the proof for this is that Master Song Yan's last words were Lung Chang's name. He is an erratic man who enjoys gaining fame by massacring people. That's why he paints his name on the walls of the Mansions' of his victims."
The rest of the Chiefs applaud Abbess Meijoui and Yue Li and Abbot Yongyu realize that they cannot do anything to help Lung Chang. Although the evidence that Lung Chang's enemies have could not really be called and the most strong, there are nevertheless evidence, while Yue Li and Abbot Yongyu have no evidence of Lung Chang's innocence at all. And since they do not have any evidence, they have to accept the official position of the Orthodox Sects, that Lung Chang is a lunatic murderer.
Piao Zhen continues his speech: "Those massacres, and our inability to prevent them, show that there is something wrong with what we are doing. Lung Chang is only one person, but through so many centuries countless such evil people or even whole Sects appear that cause uproar in the Martial Arts World and do not allow peace and justice to exist. Killing Lung Chang could stop the problem for now, but sooner or later an other evil man or organization shall shake the Martial Arts World. The only way to stop this is for all Orthodox Martial Arts Sects to unite."
"Indeed!", Abbess Meijoui agrees. "We should unite in order to stop evil from spreading. Lung Chang is just the problem of those years. A few years later, someone else will appear and cause an uproar. If we unite, however, no evil men shall cause trouble in the Martial Arts World and even if they dare to, we shall be able to respond quickly and with overwhelming force."
"I agree!", Pan Tong states. Although he disregards Piao Zhen, he knows that what he said was logical. He also has the ambition of him becoming leader of the new Alliance. "United we are strong, divided we are weak! One arrow can easily be smashed. But many arrows together are impossible to be smashed."
Soon, all other Chiefs express their agreement, except for Yue Li and Abbot Yongyu, who do not like the idea of all Orthodox Martial Arts Sects being united under one man. So, when Piao Zhen asks Priest Yue Li for his opinion, he replies: "Our Sects have each a history of hundreds of years. Each Sect has it's own traditions and rules, so how can we possibly merge them and forget our traditions? And how can we trust one man to become leader of the entire Martial Arts World? I strongly disagree!"
"Since Priest Yue Li disagreed, I, Abbot Yongyu of Shaolin, because of the long standing friendship between Shaolin and Wudang, cannot agree."
"Very well.", Piao Zhen replies. "However, I would like to ask all Chiefs to stay here in Mt. Kunlun, so we can meet five days later. Merging the Orthodox Sects is an important issue which cannot be decided in just a few minutes. So, in those days, everyone please think about and make a wise decision."
Many hours later, in the night, Priest Yue Li argues in his room with his brother in arms, Zhang Yude. Although Zhang Yude is a senior of Yue Li, their teacher made Yue Li instead of him Chief of Wudang and this makes Zhang Yude very jealous. However, this is not the reason why they are arguing. The reason is that Zhang Yude is a firm believer of Piao Zhen's proposition and wants the Orthodox Sects to unite.
"Chief!", Zhang shouts, "You should agree to Piao Zhen's proposal. For centuries, the reason the Orthodox Sects have been unable to prevent evil men from doing harm is their disunity. This is a chance to unite and achieve ever lasting peace in the Martial Arts World. How can you refuse it?!"
"Brother Yude, each Sect has a history of hundreds of years. Each Sect has it's own traditions and laws. I am not against closer cooperation between the Orthodox Sects, but we cannot just merge all Sects."
"In my opinion, you are only interested in keeping your position as Chief!"
Zhang Yude storms out of the room. He then walks alone on a cliff on Mt. Kunlun and gazes at the bright moon. The moon and the stars on the night sky remind him certain lyrics of Cao Cao's 'Short Song Style' poem:
"Bright is the moon's spark, when can I pick it apart?" and "Stars around the moons are few, southward the crows flew."
He sighs as he remembers the day when his teacher gave the 'Seal of Command' to Yue Li instead of him. "Yue Li was my junior, but he became leader of the Sect! It is so unfair. Teacher was biased and a fool.", Zhang Yude thinks. Anger, jealously and hatred flare up within Zhang Yude all at once. "Instead of giving to me the 'Seal of Command', he gave it to that idiot! And now, this stupid and muddle-headed idiot gets on the way of bringing peace to the Martial Arts World! Thanks to his persistence in maintaining his position as Chief, the Orthodox Sects shall never be united!"
All the anger and jealously of Zhang Yude comes spilling out. He pulls out his sword, a long, elegant and thin blade, roars and practices the 'Divine Gate Thirteen Swords (神門十三劍)' swordplay with immense fury and hatred.
Suddenly, he hears the sound of steps. He turns round and sees an old man, who has long white hair and beard, and wears a brown gown. Zhang Yude had not seen him before on the Mt. and he does not look like a Kunlun student, so who could he be?
"Who are you?", he politely asks the old man.
The man just laughs for a few second and then replies: "I am an elder of Wudang Sect."
"That's impossible! I've never seen you and neither teacher nor any other elder of Wudang ever mentioned anything about you."
"Ai-ya! So, they forgot about me so quickly?". The old man remains silent for a few seconds before speaking again: "Your teacher must have told you of a man called Sun Shiyi, right?"
"Eee......yes, I remember teacher mentioning that man once. He said that Sun Shiyi was his brother in arms. He fell in love with a young and very beautiful woman and she liked him too. But because the woman was the daughter of a high ranking Official and she was very beautiful, she became a concubine of the Taichang Emperor, father of the current Emperor, Emperor Chongzhen. Sun Shiyi went crazy when he learned this and no one knows what happened to him."
"Good. It seems that my brother in arms had not forgotten about me."
Zhang Yude laughs. "Do you expect me to believe that you are Sun Shiyi?"
"Let us have a fight and I will prove to you that I really am Sun Shiyi!"
"I accept your challenge!"
The old man pulls out a narrow, double-edged Jian Sword with a thin blade and a tassel attached to the pommel. He sweeps his sword across with almost superhuman speed. Zhang Yude ducks down to avoid it, then counters with a thrust from his sword. The two fight round and round. Zhang Yude, seeing that his opponent's swordsmanship is even greater than that of his own master and knowing that he will never be able to defeat him, concentrates instead on trying to tire the old man out. But his Internal Energy is profound and, as time passes, Zhang Yude cannot discern the slightest slowing of the old man's actions. Instead, his sword seems to whirl and dance with ever increasing speed. Finally, the old man's sword clashes with Zhang Yude's sword, a 'clang' is heard and Zhang Yude's sword snaps clean in two.
"Now, do you believe me?", the old man asks.
Zhang Yude bows before him and says: "Greetings Elder Sun! Forgive me for my rudeness."
"My brother in arms was muddle-headed."
"Why do you say so?"
"Because instead of making Chief of Wudang a great and able man like you, he gave the 'Seal of Command' to that idiot Yue Li."
Zhang Yude cannot hide his happiness upon hearing those words. Maybe Elder Sun can help him become Chief, he thinks.
"Elder Sun, I need your help. Yue Li refuses to accept the merge of all Orthodox Sects and this will prevent the Martial Arts World from having peace and stability. Also, evil people like Lung Chang will be able to continue their massacres. Please, change his mind."
"You are right. But Yue Li will never listen to anyone. There is only one way to make sure that the Orthodox Sects merge."
"What is it?"
"To kill Yue Li!"
"Kill....kill....kill Yue Li?"
"It is the only way to make sure that the Martial Arts World has peace."
"But....how should I kill him? My skills are not good enough."
"Take this."
Sun Shiyi gives Zhang Yude a red pill and a jar of wine.
"I...will poison him?"
"Yes. Before you go and see Yue Li, swallow the red pill. This will make sure that the poison will not affect you."
"Thanks for your help, Elder."
Zhang Yude swallows the pill and runs back to the Kunlun School. He knocks the door of Yue Li's room. Yue Li opens the door and warmly says: "Brother Yude, come inside."
When Zhang Yude enters the room, he bows before Yue Li and, with tears in his eyes, shouts: "I have unjustly insulted you! Chief, please punish me!!"
Yue Li, smiling, helps Zhang Yude gets up and says "Since you know your mistake, there is no need for me to punish you."
"Chief, I have bought some wine. Would you like to taste it?"
Zhang Yude takes a large gulp from the jar with the wine and remarks "Excellent wine!"
Yue Li, who likes good wine, takes the jar from Zhang Yude's hands and drinks it.
"Quite good wine indeed!", he says. He had more than a week to drink wine.
Suddenly, Yue Li feels a pain on his stomach and vomits blood. As Yue Li shouts in pain, Zhang Yude pulls out a dagger and stabs thrice Yue Li's chest before Yue Li kicks him on the stomach. Yue Li tries to grab his sword but, as he is dizzy, he he is not able to do so. Instead, he moves left and right and cannot stand on his feet. Zhang Yude, fearing that his assassination attempt will fail and that he will surely die, attacks again, this time with immense hatred and stabs more than twenty times Yue Li's stomach to make sure that he is dead. He then calms down and realizes that his arch-enemy is finally dead and laughs hysterically.
As he is laughing, he realizes something that makes him desperate again: the other students of Wudang will inquire how Yue Li died. Even without close examination, just by looking at Yue Li's body, one can come to the concussion that he got stabbed to death. And of course, sooner or later, Zhang Yude will be suspected. So, he must find a way to prevent this. He thinks for a few seconds, and then an idea comes: he will throw one of the candles of the room onto the floor, starting a fire. Everyone will think that the fire was started by an accident and that Yue Li did not manage to get out in time and got burned alive. So, he lights a candle and throws it on the wooden floor of the room. Zhang Yude runs out and soon the flames engulf much of the Western Section of the Kunlun School. Only after two hours are the pugilists of the Orthodox Sects able to put down the fire. In total, twenty people were burned to death.
The next day, the Wudang students find the burned body of their Chief, which is barely recognizable, and they bury him. They then elect Zhang Yude as the new Chief of Wudang. Four days later, the Chiefs of the Orthodox Sects meet again on the Great Hall of the Kunlun School.
"Honorable Chiefs!", Piao Zhen says. "I hope that in those five days you had, you have thought about my proposal. So, do you agree to the merger?"
"I agree!", Zhang Yude shouts.
"Me too!", Abbess Meijoui of Emei Sect adds.
"I also agree.", Abbot Yongyu says, sighing. He knows that it is of no use to try and oppose alone the merger.
All other Chiefs follow suit. Piao Zhen cannot hide how relieved he is that everyone agreed. "So, how shall we choose the leader of the Alliance?", he asks. "I say that we hold a Martial Arts Tournament in four months and the victor shall become leader of the Orthodox Sects. Also, I propose that we hold the tournament on Shaolin, if Abbot Yongyu agrees, as all Martial Arts originate from Shaolin."
"It will be my honor to host such an event.", Abbot Yongyu replies.
The other Chiefs agree to Piao Zhen's proposal. So, the meeting of the Orthodox Martial Arts Sects on Mt. Kunlun ends with a historic decision: for the first time in the history of the Martial Arts World, all Orthodox Sects shall merge. The same night, Sun Shiyi gallops away from Mt. Kunlun with his strong and tall white horse. "My dear Shunu, I will take revenge for you!", he thinks. "That bastard Taichang Emperor snatched you away from me. He made you his concubine and forced you to sleep with him and give him a son, the current Emperor Chongzhen. But your heart remained loyal to me. So, he had you executed. But now, I shall take revenge for you. Although Taichang died before I could take revenge, I shall avenge you by bringing down the Ming Empire. In four months, the Martial Arts World will come under Manchu control. And then, the Manchu Armies shall conquer the Ming Empire and I will have avenged you!!"

The sun shines brightly on the clear blue morning sky and a cool wind is blowing. The sound of the raging water of the Hydaspes river flowing can be heard all over the Greek camp. The air is moist. A 44 years old man walks towards King Alexander's tent. The ground upon which he walks is filled with low green grass. As he walks, he can see soldiers drinking, others chatting and other playing with dices lucky games.
The majority of the soldiers wear a Phrygian caps, which have a high and forward-projecting apex, and a body armour called "linothorax", which is a cuirass of stiff linen built up of glued or stitched layers of textile. It is composed of the 'girdle', a tubular section of four vertical panels, that encloses the torso. A shoulder-piece is attached to the upper rear section of the girdle, and this element is split into two wings which are pulled forward over the top of each shoulder and laced to the chest-section of the girdle. Pteruges, strips of linen or leather, protect the upper arms and hips of the wearer.

The man who is walking is Craterus, the son of a Macedonian nobleman named Alexander from Orestis and brother of admiral Amphoterus. Craterus commanded the phalanx and all infantry on the left wing in the Battle of Issus. In Hyrcania, he was sent on a mission against the Tapurians, his first independent command with the Macedonian army. Craterus is a very able man and a quite capable military commander, so King Alexander has entrusted him with great responsibilities. A middle-aged man now, he has brown beard and mustache, but he remains muscular and physically fit. He wears a muscle cuirass, which is made entirely of plate bronze consisting of a breast and backplate, with shoulder pieces.
After walking for almost five minutes, he finally reaches King Alexander's tent. The tent is guarded by six soldiers, all very tall and strong and armed with swords and spears. "Craterus wishes to see the King.", he says and one of the guards immediately rushes into the tent to inform the King. Only a few second pass, and the guard gets out of the tent and shouts: "Craterus can come inside the tent and see the King!"
Craterus enters the tent and says: "Greetings, my King". King Alexander stares at a map which is laid upon a wooden table and examines it closely, so when he greets Craterus by saying "Good morning.", he does not even look at him. Alexander is a relative young man, only 30 years old. His beard is scanty and he is somewhat short. However, his face has a fair color and he is strong and handsome. Alexander wears an elaborate helmet in the form of the lion scalp of Herakles, and a complete cuirass of plate iron, decorated with gold and modeled on the form of the linothorax.
Alexander's beard is scanty and he is somewhat short, but his face has a fair color and he is strong and handsome.
The map which Alexander III of Macedon, Hegemon of the Hellenic League, Shahanshah of Persia, Pharaoh of Egypt and Lord of Asia, looks at depicts the Hydaspes river and was made by a combined effort of his scouts, mainly cavalry, local civilians and information given by Prince Taxiles, Governor of the city of Taxila and an ally of Alexander.
"Your Majesty, the river is too deep and fast for us to cross.", Craterus informs the King.
"I know."
Alexander does not even look at Craterus when he replies and continues examining the map. He seems to be in deep thought.
"I propose, your Majesty, that we camp on the banks of the river until Autumn, when the water will not be as deep and fast and we can have a fair chance of crossing the river."
Alexander does not reply and stays silent for almost a whole minute. He just examines the map and keeps thinking, without looking at all at Craterus, who has to silently and patiently wait. Looking at his King, Craterus cannot help but think: "What will he think again? Maybe he prepares a second Issus?". Alexander has gained the admiration of all his soldiers and the fame of a military genius thanks to his spectacular and against all odds victories against the Persian Empire, the largest Empire the world had ever seen.

After a whole minute, Alexander finally looks at Craterus and says: "Hey, Craterus, how did you manage to learn how to go into battle without fear?"
Craterus is puzzled. "What has this to do with the upcoming battle against King Porus?". Nevertheless, he must reply since his King asks him to do so. "Your Majesty, when I first went into battle, I was very afraid. The second time I went into battle, because I now had some experience, I became less afraid. On my tenth battle, I got so much used in fighting, that I was not afraid at all."
"Exactly!"
Craterus becomes even more puzzled. "I am sorry, your Majesty, but I am too stupid to understand what you mean."
"If Porus gets used in the sound of our army moving, he will not be worried about it anymore!"
Craterus, who has seen much fighting in his life, immediately understands what his King means.
"Craterus, firstly make sure that Porus learns that I plan to camp here until Autumn, when the water will not be as deep and fast. Secondly, move up and down our mounted troops every night for ten nights."
"I shall follow your orders, your Majesty!"
General Yadu of Porus.
On the South bank of Hydaspes, a 36 years old Indian tanned man with dark complexion, a sturdy stature and with a black mustache and no traces at all of beard, walks towards King Porus' tent. The Indian man wears simple orange trousers and cape and a richly decorated belt. A long and thin sword is hanging from his waist. His torso is naked, showing his strong and muscular body. He wears a golden helmet upon his long black hair that shines on the clear blue and sunny sky. His golden helmet and his lavish belt show that this man must be very important in the Indian army of King Porus. And indeed he is a very important man. He is Yadu, King Porus' best and most trusted General.
General Yadu walks with fast movement towards King Porus' tent and soon reaches it. There, he finds four soldiers, who wear simple trousers, have their torso naked and hold swords on their hands, guarding the tent. The soldiers bow slightly before the General and allow him to enter inside the tent. Upon seeing Yadu, King Porus approaches him and says with a loud voice: "Good morning, my friend."
King Porus is a strong and relative handsome man with fair skin, at least compared to most of his men, a black mustache and long black hair. He wears a gilt breastplate, which is very richly decorated and has several Indian symbols carved upon it, a golden crown decorated with tens of gems, a golden belt and yellow trousers. Even his shoes are gilt.

General Yadu bows slightly before his King and says: "Good morning, your Majesty."
"What news do you have?"
Yadu laughs for a few second before saying: "How did you know that I have news?"
"You never come to see me during battle, unless there is something important to report. You mostly spend your time encouraging and training the soldiers."
"You are right, my King. There is something I have to report. My spies have got information that Alexander and his army shall camp on the banks of the river until Autumn, when the river becomes less fast and deep."
"It seems quite logical to me. I expected this. This Alexander is a quite skilled General and not a madman. Because only a madman would dare to cross the river now. The few shallow crossings on the river are heavily guarded by my men and our elephants will scare their horses if they dare to try and cross the river with their mounted forces. By the way, have your spies and scouts managed to estimate the size of the enemy forces?"
"Yes. According to my sources, this Alexander has 40,000 of his own men, both infantry and cavalry, and 5,000 Indian soldiers from his ally, that bastard Prince Taxiles, compared to our own 50,000 infantry, 4,000 cavalry, 200 elephants and 1,000 chariots. Also, we have 4,000 cavalry and 200 chariots from your brother."
"Good. We shall crush those Greeks! Hydaspes forms a natural wall between our two armies and I will use this wall to the maximum effect. They say that this young Alexander has been undefeated. But now, I shall teach him what defeat is!"
War Elephants are the elite forces of King Porus, as they are antiquity's "Tanks" and can scare Alexander's horses.
The same night, Craterus follows Alexander's orders and moves the entire Greek cavalry up and down. This causes much noise and alerts Porus' soldiers. General Yadu rushes into King Porus' tent to ask for instructions. When he enters the tent, Porus is yawning. It seems that he was sleeping and the noise awaken him. Yadu bows before Porus and shouts: "General Yadu awaits orders from his Majesty!"
"Gather all our cavalry and follow the movements of the Greek cavalry. We must not allow them to cross the river."
"I will follow you orders, my King!"
Yadu runs out of the tent and instructs the royal messengers to beat the war drums, thus calling the army to prepare for battle. The sound of war drums is terrible and creates an atmosphere of battle. Indian soldiers, many of whom are awake and sit half-asleep besides fires, prepare themselves for battle as quickly as they can. They prepare their weapons and rush towards their units.
Yadu follows his King's instructions and has his cavalry to follow the movement of the Greeks. As the Greeks move up and down, the Indians also move up and down. This continues for the whole night. For the next ten days, the same thing happens again and again. The Greek army moves up and down the river and the Indians follow suit.
The Greek Cavalry moves up and down the Hydaspes river.
On the afternoon of the eleventh day, General Yadu goes to Porus' tent and, after bowing, informs him of his opinion about the Greek movements.
"Your Majesty, in my opinion, the Greeks are just searching for shallow crossings to cross in Autumn. I do not believe that they will cross the river now. So, I say that we only leave the usual number of guards to guard the crossings and stop moving our entire army again and again up and down every night, because the only thing we manage is to tire ourselves and make us seem like fools before those damn Greeks."
King Porus thinks silently for a few minutes, but he finally comes to the conclusion that General Yadu's advise is wise and should be implemented. They should not overtire their army for no reason, otherwise they may risk losing the battle because of tiredness or ever take the risk of a mutiny. So, he agrees: "I agree with your proposal."
Yadu leaves his King's tent happy that his proposal has been accepted. Meanwhile, Craterus also enters his King's tent to inform him about the situation.
"Your Majesty, during my moving of the army up and down, I found a shallow crossing. We could cross the river there."
"Good. You have done a good job.", King Alexander replies. "Move up and down the army again today and report to me the behavior of the Indian army."
"I will, sir!"
Craterus moves again up and down his army that night, but the Indians do not follow his movement. Instead, only a few guards watch the Macedonians. When Craterus informs Alexander about this, he cannot hide his happiness. Laughing hard, he shouts "Tonight, we shall cross the river and crush Porus!"
Indeed, that night Alexander personally leads 5,000 cavalry and 6,000 infantry towards the location pointed by Craterus as being shallow. Craterus remains back to the camp with most of the army. As Alexander and his army march forward, a storm begins and rain pours over them. Thunders shake the night sky and conceal the movement of Alexander's army. On the middle of the marching, Alexander leaves behind Meleager with 1,500 troops, both infantry and cavalry. He then continues the march.
The Macedonian Phalanx, the main infantry unit of the Macedonian Army.
When the Greek soldiers see the raging waters of Hydaspes, combined with the wild storm and the heavy rain, they become a bit frightened. Crossing the river is very dangerous, and if discovered by the Indian army, the Greek army is sure to be crushed. However, Alexander is confident, firstly because his deception plan has made sure that the Indians are not able to react in time. Secondly, because the storm, while making the crossing of the river a bit more difficult, also helps them since the sound of the thunders shaking the sky covers the noise of the Macedonian Army marching and also because the heavy rain limits the visibility of the Indian guards. Thirdly, Alexander had already planned about this scenario, and so he has ready skin floats filled with hay.
His soldiers use those skin floats to cross the river. As the river is deep and fast, the water reaches the neck of the soldiers, and only their head remains out of the water. However, the Greek army is battle-hardened from all those years fighting the Persians and so a simple river is not able to stop them. Alexander himself has now problem at all crossing the river, as he is now in the peak of his physical fitness.
When Alexander lands on the ground, he lets out a deep breath and runs towards his officers. He passes through deep vegetation and tall exotic trees that hide the night sky. The thunders, however, light the entire place. As he runs, Alexander sees his soldiers laying on the ground and resting or preparing their weapons for the upcoming battle, depending on how physically tough each soldier is. Perdiccas, one of the officers leading the Companion Cavalry, seeing the King running towards him, bows before him and says "Greetings, your Highness."
"Perdiccas, do you have any news?"
Perdiccas is sweating, despite the cold weather, and looks somewhat scared. When he hears those words of Alexander, his face becomes as white as ashen. Why would this middle-aged thin officer with the long black beard and hair be so scared?
"What is it?", Alexander asks, suspicious about Perdiccas' behavior.
"Your Majesty, we....we....we actually landed on an island in the middle of Hydaspes, not on the other side of the river."
Alexander becomes pale and shouts "What?!". This could spell disaster for the young Greek King. He would have to organize quickly an other crossing, which will be as difficult as the first one, before the Indians realize what is happening. Also, because of the very deep and fast water of the river, even the most battle-hardened Macedonians are tired. Will he be able to encourage them to cross again the raging water of Hydaspes and face the huge Indian army of King Porus?
Alexander passes through deep vegetation and tall exotic trees that hide the night sky. The thunders, however, light the entire place.
Alexander, Perdiccas and the other Greek officers try to motivate the Greek soldiers to make an other great effort to cross the river. Skin floats are prepared again and soon the soldiers cross once again the deep and fast water of the Hydaspes river. This time, however, the water is even deeper and now even the head of most soldiers is covered with water. The Persian troops of the Greek Army, mainly those from Bactria and Sogdia, are those who face the most difficulties, as most of them are not experienced in crossing deep rivers and are not good swimmers. However, with some help from their Greek comrades, they are able to make it.
Once the Greek Army crosses the river, all the soldiers are exhausted. Alexander lets his soldiers rest for a few minutes, while he himself leads a small number of Bactrian and Sogdian horse archers to scout the enemy army. Alexander gallops forward with a tall and thin black horse, his favorite horse, Bucephalus. Although old now, Bucephalus is nevertheless strong and accompanies his master to the battle.
As the horse archers gallop forward, they meet some Indian guards, who are startled to see that their enemy has managed to cross the river. Alexander quickly orders his men to fire their arrows at the unfortunate men. The horse archers of Alexander are some of the best in the world. They are all real nomads, who lived by herding and looting in the desert regions of Afghanistan before joining the Greeks. Each one of them, even the youngest, is an expert horseman and archer. Even when they were kids, they first learned how to ride horses and shoot arrows while on horseback and then how to speak.
So, with such excellent horse archers, how could the surprised and unprepared Indian guards stand a chance? The arrows penetrate the bodies of the Indians and blood is spilled out of the bodies and flies in the air. The shouts of dying men covers the battlefield. Some of the Indians try to run away, but the nomadic horsemen of Alexander kill them with ease with their arrows, which are able to kill even the furthest targets.
The Bactrian and Sogdian horse archers chase after the Indian guards.
However, one of the Indian guards manages to escape the Greek horse archers and informs General Yadu of Alexander's crossing of the Hydaspes river. The Indian General quickly rushes into King Porus' tent and, after informing him of the situation, he bows before him and, with tears in his eyes, says: "I deserve death my King! Please kill me! Because of me, the Greeks were able to cross the river. I deserve death!!"
"No! You have made too much contribution to be killed over a small mistake. Not to say that if one needs to be punished, then that should be me. Because, while you proposed that we lower our alertness, it was I who decided to implement your advice. If I was a wiser King, I would have refused to follow your proposal. So, it is mine, not yours, the fault."
"How could you say such a thing, my King? Of course you are a wise King. Because, most other Kings in your position would blame everything on their subordinates and refuse to acknowledge that they have made any mistakes, but you not only show kindness and mercy to me, but you also reprimand yourself. That makes you a wise King and an example of how a King should lead his men. You are really a Saint - King."
Porus laughs for a few seconds and then replies: "We outnumber Alexander, so there is no reason for us to be afraid of him. I believe that we shall be able to defeat him. However, there is something that bothers me: is Alexander's force the main attacking force or is it just a small force to lure me to battle, so that the main Greek force in the Greek camp is able cross the river and outflank me? But if Alexander is indeed leading the main force, then he is just using the troops in the Greek camp to immobilize my army."
"I have a proposal, my King. Why do you not send your brother with some of his troops to attack Alexander? If Alexander is able to defeat him, then we will know that Alexander is leading the main force. If Alexander is defeated, then we will know that the main Greek force is in the Greek camp."
"Good! I shall follow your proposal."
Porus' brother leading Indian chariots against Alexander's army.
Porus' brother, a middle-aged mustached man, leads 2,000 cavalry and 120 chariots against Alexander. He himself rides a golden chariot decorated with tens of precious gems and pulled by four beautiful and strong white horses. The Indians approach the Greek army, but to their dismay, because the rain had turned the ground into mud, the chariots are not able to be used properly and only the cavalry launches an attack.
Agrianian peltasts, who wear no armor and carry only a light shield, stand by and wait for the enemy cavalry to come close enough. Then, they throw their javelins, aiming for the cavalrymen. Hundreds of cavalrymen are pierced by the javelins and die. Horse archers also attack the Indian cavalry with a storm of arrows. The attack is crushed before it even begins. Porus' brother himself is pierced by a javelin on the chest, vomits blood and dies. Without their leader, the few remaining Indians retreat. Especially the charioteers, who abandon their chariots to the mud and run for their lives. However, despite their best efforts to run away, they are easily killed by the peltasts and horse archers of Alexander. Alexander himself charges at the retreating enemies and slashes with his sword tens of them.
The screams of dying men fill the air and everywhere there are dismembered and pierced with either arrows or javelins bodies. The few Indian soldiers who survive the onslaught inform General Yadu of their crushing defeat and he, in turn, informs King Porus about the results of the battle. Porus is outrageous: "Dammit, my own brother was killed and almost the entire force I send was slaughtered!"
"But, my King, we have accomplished our mission.", Yadu, with a smile in his face, replies. "We now know that Alexander leads the main force and the the forces at the Greek camp are a secondary force. So, let us lead the majority of our army against the barbarians and crush them."
"Gather 4,000 cavalry, 300 chariots, 200 elephants and 30,000 infantry to lead against this Alexander. The rest will stay in the camp to make sure that the Greeks in the Greek Camp do not attempt to cross the river."
Agrianian peltast - modern reconstruction by Johnny Shumate
War Drums are once again beaten and the huge Indian army gathers for a final showdown with the enemy. Will the Indian army be able to face antiquity's greatest military force? Or shall they be crushed like the Persians in Issus and Gaugamela? Despite rumors about Greek invincibility, the morale of the Indian Army is relative high and the army marches quickly towards battle.
The Indians position their cavalry on both flanks and their center is compromised by infantry with elephants towering among or before them in equal intervals. At the same time, Alexander lets his army rest again and he scouts once more with the horse archers. The horse archers come close to the Indian formation and Alexander examines how Porus has positioned his troops. He is in deep thought for a few minutes, until he realizes that an Indian unit of archers fires arrows towards him.
Alexander quickly orders a retreat, as he only wants to scout the enemy forces, not attack them. The horse archers retreat but, like true nomads they are, they still shoot arrows while retreating, killing many Indian archers. General Yadu, who is riding a tall white horse, sees this and sighs. The battle has not started yet, but the Indians already have their first casualties. The Indians may outnumber Alexander, but Yadu knows that the Greeks are formidable opponents. Alexander positions his army and is soon ready for battle. The Battle of Hydaspes is about to begin
Alexander starts the battle by sending horse archers to shower the Indian left cavalry wing. The arrows of the horse archers decimate the Indian cavalry, which is outnumbered in both quality and quantity by the Greeks. Then, Alexander leads himself the charge against the weakened Indian wing with more than half of the Companion Cavalry. With his sword, the Macedonian King slays countless of his opponents.
The Greek Cavalry routs it's Indian counterpart and hundreds of Indians lie dead on the ground. Porus, seeing his left wing shaken, orders General Yadu to begin an all out offensive with all of the elephants against the Macedonian Phalanx. The Greeks are terrified to see the elephants, which are as tall as towers and destroy anything on their pass. At first, the elephants push aside the Phalanx and it looks like the Greek center will be crushed. However, Perdiccas orders his men to use their spears against the elephants' eyes. The Greeks indeed pierce the animal's eyes, causing the elephants to go crazy and run back towards their own formation, killing thousands of Indian soldiers.
Porus, seeing his left wing shaken, orders General Yadu to begin an all out offensive with all of the elephants against the Macedonian Phalanx.
At the same time, as the rest of the Indian cavalry gallops against Alexander to help their comrades, Coenus's cavalry contingent appears on the Indian rear. Coenus, son of Polemocrates and son-in-law of Parmenion, is one of Alexander's ablest officers. He has proved again and again his intelligence and valor, and his outflanking of the Indian Army, which causes panic among the Indians, shows his skills.
Perdiccas, seeing the confusion in the Indian ranks, takes the chance and leads the entire Macedonian infantry against the Indians. The Macedonian Phalanx, the unbeatable infantry unit invented by Phillip II of Macedon, father of Alexander, easily crushes the Indian infantry and the battle becomes a massacre. The Indians, against all odds, continue to fight bravely, but their bravery achieves nothing, except for causing them even more casualties.
Alexander, riding Bucephalus, charges against the Indian infantry all by himself and kills countless soldiers. Then, he suddenly sees an elephant charging against him. Instead of being frightened, he gallops with his old horse against the elephant and as the elephant rises on it's two feet and is ready to trample the young King, Alexander stabs thrice his sword on the animal's throat. The rider of the elephant loses his control over the beast and Alexander somersaults and jumps upon the animal's head. He then stabs with all of his power the elephant's head with his sword and, as the animal collapses on the ground, he jumps back onto his horse and gallops away.
Alexander, riding Bucephalus, charges against the Indian infantry all by himself and kills countless soldiers.
Alexander continues slaying enemy troops, until a spear suddenly pierces Bucephalus. The old horse spits blood and Alexander falls on the ground. Alexander roars in anger and cannot stop crying. The horse also cries. It tries to get up, but it can't. Finally, it vomits some more blood and dies. So, the horse that had accompanied Alexander since the age of 10, is now dead. Alexander lets loose an other roar, even more louder than the last one. This roar, which is like an angry lion's roar, can be heard all over the battlefield.
It is then when Alexander sees who the murderer is: General Yadu riding on his white horse. The Indian General charges against Alexander, but as the horse comes close to Alexander, he ducks down and chops the horse's legs. Yadu falls on the ground, but he quickly gets up and somersaults against Alexander, aiming with his sword at the young King's throat. Alexander's sword clashes with Yadu's and a great "clang" can be heard. The two men exchange 45 more moves, before Alexander can stab Yadu's right elbow, causing him to let off his sword. Alexander, then, tries to finish off Yadu, but he dodges the attack, somersaults, lands behind Alexander and kicks his back, causing him to also let off his sword.
So, the two men fight hand to hand. Alexander tries to kick Yadu, but he blocks the attacks using his elbows. He then tries to kick Alexander's head, the only part of his body that is not protected by armor, but Alexander grabs Yadu's leg and breaks it onto his right knee. Yadu cannot walk well, but he still manages to get up, after a great try. However, Alexander quickly grabs a sword he finds on the ground and throws at Yadu. The sword pierces Yadu's chest, killing him.
The battle continues for many more hours. Craterus, seeing the Indian army in complete disarray, crosses the river with the troops left in the Greek camp and outflanks the Indians. Despite the fact that thousands of Indians are dying and that he has lost the battle, Porus continues fighting his enemies. He rides on top of a war elephant and tramples as many Macedonians as he can. Whenever someone dares to ask him to surrender, whether Indian or Greek, he kills him by throwing a spear against him. However, he soon finds himself surrounded by hundreds of Greek soldiers.
Despite the fact that thousands of Indians are dying and that he has lost the battle, Porus continues fighting his enemies. He rides on top of a war elephant and tramples as many Macedonians as he can.
Finally, after many attacks by the Greeks, Porus' elephant is killed and it collapses on the ground. Porus, nevertheless, pulls out a sword and is ready to fight to the last. However, Alexander, seeing this and admiring his bravery, approaches him and politely asks him: "How do you want me to treat you?"
"Like a King!", Porus replies.
Alexander laughs for a few seconds and then asks again: "I was going to treat you like that anyway. Anything else you want?"
"Everything is summarized on my first request."
"Very well. You shall remain King and I shall also add new territories on your Kingdom."
So, Alexander and Porus become friends. Alexander has won the battle of Hydaspes, however the death toll is great: 1,000 Macedonians and 23,000 Indians died. But Alexander has managed to secure his flank and can now continue his Indian Campaign. His campaign, however, does not last long as his soldiers mutiny and force him to return back to Babylon, which is made capital of the Empire. Alexander dies on 11 June 323 BC, aged only 32.
The Empire Strikes Back has topped a poll of the greatest movies of all time.

My question in particular is about npc spawner mods. I want to create a spawner mod of my own that spawns certain types of NPCs not in the Call of Aid mod. Would it be possible for me to do that by modifying the Call of Aid files? or would I have to start from scratch?
I recently installed a mod that altered the appearance of the default clothing for the starting classes in KotOR 1. For example it changed the soldier class to use the standard Republic red and yellow/orange outfit. I was hoping to revert this back to the re-textured armor that SpaceAlex included in his Enhancement Pack.
Any help? I'm guessing this is a simple .2da edit.
Also. Not sure what mod it was. I think it was SpaceAlex's K1 Enhancement Pack but there are two Darth Bandons on the Endar Spire during his intro sequence. Was hoping to fix this too.
In addition to the episodes of a new Star Wars trilogy, Lucasfilm and Disney continue development of multiple stand-alone movies that will offer new stories beyond the core Saga. The newest director to come on board is Josh Trank.
"We're thrilled to welcome Josh into the family," says Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. "He is such an incredible talent and has a great imagination and sense of innovation. That makes him perfectly suited to Star Wars, and for this new slate of movies that reach beyond the core characters and storylines of Episodes I through IX."
Trank states, "The magic of the Star Wars Universe defined my entire childhood. The opportunity to expand on that experience for future generations is the most incredible dream of all time."
Trank captured imaginations worldwide with his critically lauded directorial debut Chronicle, a fresh and engaging take on the superhero genre. Trank is currently at work on The Fantastic Four for 20th Century Fox.
Hello this is my first post here on Lucas Forums, I have a problem I have attempted to make it possible to allow Non-Jedi to use a lightsaber from the start of KotOR, not so much to play as an advantage but more for the realism that using a lightsaber should not be something that only Jedi can do.
I have attempted to modify the feats.2da file and change the parameters for lightsabers so that the basic proficiency is available to Non-Jedi by making the values the same as what you see for Jedi however, everytime I change the values I seem to be unable to get the feat available for my character I was wondering if anybody on here could tell me what the problem is.
